And I’m here to start your Thursday off right with some good news: Ctrl is out tomorrow! In anticipation of the project, the TDE artist decided to stop by Power 105’s The Breakfast Club yesterday to share some tea prior to its release.
In the interview, the dreamy vocalist talks about past relationships and her overall growth as an artist. “I never really talked about relationships in a direct way,” SZA mused. “I used to be very metaphorical, very figurative, and also just kind of scared to talk about the way I felt in a literal way.” SZA went on to explain her reactions via Twitter and the frustrations that came with the album’s delayed release. “I’m just hella childish,” she said jokingly.”It’s like halfway through I felt someone was expecting from me, and I was like, ‘I don’t know how to meet expectations. I’m just a human being.'”
