Wiz Khalifa is the latest rapper involved in legal drama, as he’s suing a concert promoter for $1 million over a cancelled concert, according to TMZ.
In the suit, Khalifa claims the concert promoter, It’s My Party, Inc., booked him to perform at George Mason University but cancelled the concert at the last minute. According to him, It’s My Party promised him $85,000 plus a piece of the profits but they never paid up. Khalifa also insists that the cancellation ruined his reputation.
However, the promoter claims that ticket sales for the show “tanked” and that they never signed a contract therefore they’re not obligated to pay Khalifa one red cent.
