Watch: Brave New Films Tackles Media Bias

The difference in coverage as it relates to Black and White people has been raising eyebrows and tossed around social media conversations for quite a while.

The conclusion: Equality is not among us and media bias is blatant.

Black people are referred to as “thugs” and “wild animals” while defending themselves after police disrupt their peaceful protests, while White folks are covered with a softer approach – “young kids that got a little rowdy” after a sports event.

At the height of a repeated history of police brutality, church bombings and race relations, Brave New Films, an entity that uses new media and video campaigns to enlighten the public and motivate people to take action on social issues, crafted a quick-visual analysis on the topic of Black protests and White riots.
