Triple Murder in Cleveland

Once again, Cleveland is capturing the nation’s attention. Ariel Castro’s kidnapping case was the latest and now there’s another. A Cleveland man was charged Monday with the murder and kidnapping of three women.

Bail is set at $6 million for Michael Madison, 35.

Volunteers searched 40 homes on Sunday, looking for additional victims. One neighbor reported a foul odor, which led to the discovery of the three bodies. The three women were found in plastic trash bags.

The cause of death is still unknown because two of the victims were badly decomposed.

Madison had previously served four years in prison for attempted rape and a drug offense, according to the AP. At the time of his arrest, he was a registered sex offender.
