Just when we thought Kevin Durant was shaking up the NBA, Dwyane Wade drops an even bigger bomb.
Not a stranger to creating his own noise, Wade has signed a two-year, $47 million dollar contract with the Chicago Bulls, marking his return to his hometown and the sports world. The star player has been with the Miami Heat for his entire career – as an All-Star player twelve times and a three time champion.
The humble NBA star shared that his choice wasn’t a simple one to make.
“This was not an easy decision, but I feel I have made the right choice for myself and my family,” Wade wrote in a letter to Miami, released to The Associated Press.
