By a show of hands, how many of you just lost money in your office March Madness bracket pool because of Duke?
In case you missed it, No. 14 seed Mercer pulled off the biggest upset of the NCAA Tournament thus far by beating the Blue Devils 78-71.
Mercer’s coach Bob Hoffman said Duke wasn’t a “typical power-conference team.” And, as it turns out, he was right.
