Chicago Bulls Players Create Anti-Violence PSA

Joakim Noah isn’t just a Chicago Bulls player, he’s also the face of a new anti-violence campaign titled “Chicago Stand Up.”

Fed up with the immense crime plaguing the Illinois city, especially during the summer months, the NBA star took action by enlisting the help of his Noah’s Arc Foundation.

With a series of 60-second public service announcements, the 29-year-old is aiming to reach the youth in order to evoke positive change.

“We felt it was urgent to get this PSA out now in order to bring some hope, change and support to the community,” the center told the Chicago Sun-Times.

The video, which uses the hashtag #ChicagoStandUp, features local prominent leaders including fellow Bulls player Derrick Rose and is voiced by rapper Common.
