Ridiculous reason George Zimmerman is blaming Obama

Former Sanford, Florida neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman has allowed yet another spill of ignorance to escape his lips. This time? Blaming President Barack Obama for racial hostility directed at him after fatally shooting 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in 2012.

The comments came during an interview that appeared on his lawyer, Howard Iken’s website. Zimmerman, who will not be facing civil charges for Martin’s death, expressed his feelings about the Department of Justice’s decision and how he personally felt that President Obama victimized him.

“For him to make incendiary comments as he did and direct the Department of Justice to pursue a baseless prosecution, he by far over-stretched, over-reached, even broke the law in certain aspects.” Zimmerman’s referring to the president’s speech where he said, “If I had a son, he would look like Trayvon.”

He said that he believed the president “should have taken the higher road given his position, and been an example, been a leader, as the president should be, and say, ‘Let’s not rush to judgment.'” Zimmerman also stated that he feels the Martin situation played out as “God intended.”

Someone blow the whistle on this guy’s 15 minutes of fame already.
