Four-star Defensive End Solomon Thomas commits to Stanford

After narrowing down his list of schools to Stanford, Arkansas and UCLA, four-star defensive end Solomon Thomas pledged his commitment Stanford live on ESPNU. Kicking off National Signing Day with a bang, the high school senior made his announcement by pulling out a tree in a red Stanford planter. Thomas is ranked number four in his home state of Texas and has a record of 78 tackles, 12.5 sacks and 26 tackles for loss.

Chief Keef Says Goodbye to Rehab and Hello to California

Chief Keef is out of rehab heading to California. The “Love Sosa” rapper completed his rehab stint in Orange County, CA this week and has decided to permanently move to the Los Angeles area to focus on recording new music. According to his attorney, Keef is currently in Chicago visiting his daughter and has a progress court hearing on February 28.

Nets to Consider First Openly Gay NBAer

If the Brooklyn Nets have their way, Jason Collins could be the first openly gay sportsman to compete in one of the four major American sports. According to statements made by Nets’ general manager, Billy King, the organization has worked out a potential deal to sign the free agent. Collins came out last May during an interview with Sports Illustrated.

Wig Designer Says Nicki Minaj Took His Designs

Terrence Davidson, former hair stylist to Nicki Minaj, is suing the rapstress and Pink Personality LLC, claiming she stole designs from him to launch her own wig line. Davidson stopped working for Minaj in 2013, claiming the two planned to launch a wig line together as well as a reality show, after he was urged to not take on a separate reality show project by Minaj’s representatives. According to Christopher Chestnut, Davidson’s attorney, his client has suffered at least $30 million in losses.

Questlove to Guest Start on Law & Order SVU

Questlove has found a new home on NBC…temporarily.  Ice T snapped a twit-pic of The Roots drummer during his guest start stint on Law & Order SVU. The appearance comes a few months after an US Weekly interview where Questlove revealed his desire to play a dead body on the crime show.

Pharrell Auctions Famous Grammy Hat

Your dreams of owning the infamous hat Pharrell wore the Grammys just may come true! The Vivienne Westwood-designed buffalo fedora is now up for auction on EBay with bids reaching over $10,000. The proceeds from the auction will go to Pharrell’s charity, From One Hand to Another, in order to provide arts and education resources for children.
