Four Shot After Meek Mill Show

After rapper Meek Mill finished up his show at a nightclub in Delaware, shots were fired wounding four people. Delaware State Police are investigating, although there isn’t a clear motive. There are no suspects in custody.

ABC’s ‘Scandal’ reduced to 18 episodes this season

Scandal fans, listen up! This season will be four episodes fewer than last season following the pregnancy rumors of star Kerry Washington. After this week’s winter finale, the show will not resume until February 2014 to close out the remainder of the season.

An Olympic gold medal won by Jesse Owens at the 1936 Berlin Games has sold for a record $1.4 million in an online auction. SCP Auctions said Pittsburgh Penguins co-owner Ron Burkle paid $1,466,574, the highest price for a piece of Olympic memorabilia. The online auction ended Sunday.

Obamas Head to South Africa for Mandela Memorial

President Barack Obama has taken off for South Africa to attend a national memorial service for anti-apartheid icon Nelson Mandela. Obama and his wife, Michelle, boarded Air Force One under cold, rainy skies Monday morning for the long flight. The occasion presented an opportunity for a rare get-together of American presidents. Former President George W. Bush was already on board the plane, along with former first ladies Laura Bush and Hillary Clinton.

Rumor Alert: La Toya Jackson Marries Friend and Business Partner

The Jackson sibling reportedly said her “I do’s” to longtime friend Jeffre Phillips on December 6 in Los Angeles. Her rumored new hubby proposed during filming of her reality show, Life With La Toya, on the OWN network. We can’t be sure because of so many secret celeb nuptials, but Phillips himself has stepped up to deny the jumping of the broom.

Morgan State Choir to Perform at Nelson Mandela Memorial

The university’s choir is set to perform on Wednesday, December 11 at the National Cathedral in Washington D.C. “The choir is honored to be asked once again to encourage others through our music in the loss of one of the world’s greatest leaders. It is a great honor for the Morgan community to again lift up Mandela’s legacy through performance,” said Dr. Eric Conway, the choir director, on the school’s website.
