Sybrina Fulton Speaks Out Against Stop-and-Frisk
The mother of Trayvon Martin spoke out Sunday against the stop-and-frisk police practice in New York City, saying neither police nor civilians have the right to stop someone because of their race. Critics say the stops target blacks and Hispanics who aren’t doing anything wrong. Earlier this week, a judge told New York City that its policy was racial discrimination. The city plans to appeal.
Kid President Interviews Beyoncé

Toni Braxton, Babyface Release “Hurt You”
Following this weekend’s highly publicized wardrobe malfunction at a New Jersey concert, songstress and reality TV star Toni Braxton has released the audio for her new song, “Hurt You,” featuring Babyface.
The main character from Disney’s “The Famous Jett Jackson,” Lee Thompson Young, has been found dead in his Los Angeles home. TMZ reports the 29-year-old actor was discovered with a self-inflicted gun shot wound.
Actor-comedian D.L. Hughley will soon add another title to his resume. Beginning Monday, Aug. 26, the funny man will get his own, self-titled radio show on Chicago’s Soul 106.3. His show will air on weekdays from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. We can’t wait to tune in!

Even though the rapper and model/dancer got married in a small courthouse ceremony last month, they celebrated with a more fabulous ceremony this weekend in Pittsburgh.
