On Wednesday, former U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. was sentenced to 30 months in prison, while his wife, Sandi Jackson, received a year behind bars for misusing campaign money. The couple had splurged $750,000 on lavish items, such as a gold-plated Rolex watch and mink capes, to vacations and mounted elk heads, according to the Associated Press.
