No matter how hard the post-racial agenda tries to squeeze its way into societal existence, recent events have shown that is not a reality.
And while people continue to point the finger and bash President Obama, as if he can somehow vanquish it during his tenure as president, this is an issue bigger than he is. Worse yet, as a Black man and the leader of the free world, he has experienced (and continues to experience) racial profiling.
In an upcoming issue of People Magazine, the Obamas engage in a 30-minute conversation sharing personal experiences with bigotry.
“He was wearing a tuxedo at a black-tie dinner, and somebody asked him to get coffee,” Mrs. Obama tells People.
President Obama shared this stirring insight:”There’s no Black male my age, who’s a professional, who hasn’t come out a restaurant and is waiting for their car and somebody didn’t hand them their car keys.
The Obamas acknowledge that things have gotten better compared to previous generations, but there is still much progress to be made.
