Prom season is upon many high school seniors and there’s a lot that goes into arguably the biggest party of their high school tenure.
There are so many things for young ladies to obsess over from having a date, the right dress, hair and makeup, etc. But for one high school student, 17-year-old Priscilla Samey, not having a date to the prom was not going to stop the fun. Instead, she decided to take her Harvard acceptance letter as her date.

Samey is the daughter of Togolese immigrants and got the idea to take her acceptance letter as her date from her sister who told her the best date “is all your college admissions.”
In an interview with Mic, Samey said of her unconventional date, “I took a date that was pretty low maintenance, so I didn’t have to pay for his dinner.”
This story only gets better. Not only did Samey get accepted to Harvard, but also Yale, Princeton, University of Pennsylvania, Cornell, Columbia and Brown.
Samey and her “date” have since gone viral and people think it was a dope idea. With all those acceptance letters, she’s already winning.
