Kobe Bryant is not ready to step away from the game of basketball.
The Los Angeles Lakers star pushed back against a recent story by The Hollywood Reporter that said Bryant planned on retiring after one more year in the NBA. The article was light on details about this retirement revelation, but heavy on plugging a new documentary about Bryant set to be released on Showtime Feb. 28. The film, “Kobe Bryant’s Muse,” covers his career, including his sexual assault case and some advice pop music legend Michael Jackson gave him.
But retirement?
While appearing on the Grantland Basketball Hour, Bryant addressed the report, telling Bill Simmons, “That’s not true.”
