In news we’re not surprised about, Forbes is estimating the worth of superstars Jay Z and Beyonce to be at $1.16 billion.
The publication has Jay Z’s fortune to be worth $810 million and Beyonce’s is $350 million.
Most of the hip-hop mogul’s money has come from his business investments which include Roc Nation. Beyonce has sold over 17.2 million albums as a solo artist and with Destiny’s Child, another 17 million albums.
Beyonce has had some of the highest-grossing tours where she’s sold out stadiums around the world. Last year’s Formation Tour grossed $210 million in ticket sales. In 2014, she and Jay Z’s On the Run Tour passed $100 million in ticket sales.
Also, keep in mind, Jay Z just signed a 10-year $200 million touring contract with Live Nation, which means the power couple will be adding to their dynasty for many years to come.
