Ladarius Sapho has the best grade point average in his class…but he’s not allowed to be the valedictorian.
Huh?
According to FOX Chicago, Sapho, a senior at Proviso East High School, has a 4.135 GPA; however, the principal says that he can’t become valedictorian because of a policy requiring students to have attended the school for at least seven semesters to earn the title.
Sapho and the salutatorian both started at the school as sophomores after moving into the district.
