LAS VEGAS — Family members of a Las Vegas man accused of driving drunk when the car he was driving plowed into a crowded bus stop are expressing sorrow for victims and their families.
Suspect Gary Lee Hosey Jr.’s mother, father and aunt said outside court Monday that their thoughts and prayers were with the families of the four people killed and seven injured in the Thursday crash.
Hosey was also hurt. The 23-year-old appeared in court with his right arm in a sling. He conferred with a lawyer and wasn’t asked to enter a plea.
His arraignment is set for Friday.
A witness told police a 2001 Chevrolet Monte Carlo was going more than 100 mph when it went out of control and slammed into the bus stop.
