During his victory speech Tuesday night, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump used the moment to take a few shots at his Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton.
While Trump has hit Clinton on everything from her personal email server and foreign policy experience, to her husband’s infidelity, on Tuesday night, he rolled out a new line of attack–the woman card.
“Well, I think the only card she has is the woman’s card,” Trump said during his speech. “She’s got nothing else going on. And frankly, if Hillary Clinton were a man, I don’t think she’d get 5 percent of the vote. The only thing she’s got going is the women’s vote. And the beautiful thing is that women don’t like her, OK?”
Black folks are used to people accusing us of playing “the Black card” whenever we talk about race, and apparently, now–at least for Black women–there’s a new one in our deck, too.
While it’s unclear what positive perks a woman card (or even a Black card) gets you, Twitter came through with a few awesome suggestions:
To discuss the gender pay gap.
My #WomanCard gets me .77 cents to every dollar a man makes. And because i am Latina – 45 cents.

To point out how men and women are treated differently.
if a #womancard makes it so easy to get elected, why are women only 20% of congressional representatives?

The #womancard is what men play to discredit women and their supporters. No woman has ever benefitted from it.

The #WomanCard is so overplayed. All the female presidents have used it.

To joke about how race and gender intersect.
Wonder if my #BlackCard and #WomanCard will buy me dinner and get my nails done?
