Chief Keef’s stepbrother was shot in the back of the head and killed last week in Chicago, reports NBC Chicago.
Ulysses Gissendanner III, 19, was gunned down last Wednesday near 124th Street and South Union Avenue. Gissendanner reportedly had been visiting his uncle in the West Pullman neighborhood when he was shot in a car.
Gissendanner, a rapper called ”YPN Boomtown,” is the stepson of Alfonso Cozart whose son is Chief Keef, aka Keith Cozart. The family doesn’t believe that Gissendanner’s ties to Chief Keef spurred the shooting. Keef’s lawyer stated that he has no relationship with his father or Gissendanner.
Gissendanner is the latest of several young aspiring male Chicago rappers shot and killed in the past several months.
