Ariana Grande Returns to Manchester With Pop Star Friends For #OneLoveManchester Benefit Concert
It was only two weeks ago on May 22, when Ariana Grande’sDangerous Woman World Tour stopped in Manchester, England and was violently rocked by terrorism as concertgoers exited Manchester Arena. A suicide bomber detonated a nail bomb which killed 19 and injured 50.
On Sunday, Grande, 23, returned to Manchester and that same arena and brought along her pop star friends for a benefit concert, One Love Manchester. All proceeds from the concert will benefit the victims. Fans were able to watch the three-hour show via live stream.
Grande gave those in attendance a big show which included performances not only from her, but also Pharrell Williams, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Black Eyed Peas, Imojen Heap, Miley Cyrus, Coldplay, Robbie Williams, Take That, Little Mix and Niall Horan.
Notable performances from Grande included her hit single “Be Alright” and her closing the show with “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”
Reportedly, the One Love Manchester benefit concert has raised $9 million and counting.
