Listen, we all know that Mr. Lee Daniels can write the hell out of a show (and film).
In 2015, he stunned the world with his smash hit Empire, and this past fall, he deemed us worthy of his new teen-centered drama, Star. If you’ve been rocking with the gorgeously shot musical drama from the beginning, then you know that all roads have been leading to the upcoming season finale.
On Wednesday, March 15th, in the episode entitled, “Showtime,” the girls will hit up Atlanta NextFest, and we’ll finally see if they have what it takes to rise to the top. (The music will obviously be fantastic, but we’re low-key super hype to see their stunning costumes.)
Ahead of the season finale which airs on FOX at 10 PM ET, Jude Demorest, Brittany O’Grady and Ryan Destiney who star on the series as Star, Simone, and Alex respectively will be lighting up the stage at The Wendy Williams Show.
In their first ever live television performance, the trio will be bringing down the house with their smash hit single, “I Bring Me.” The song was the sultry standout from the series premiere, where the girls showed out at a NFL player’s party. If you’re still confused, go ahead and pull up the series On Demand, because you clearly have a lot to catch up on. Since the series premiere of Star in December of last year, “I Bring Me” has racked up over 1.6 million Spotify streams and 2.6 million views on YouTube/VEVO.
On Wednesday, be sure to tune into Wendy and later that evening catch the season finale of Star on FOX. It’ll be your last chance to see the girls sizzle until the show returns for season two.
