The MVP Award Goes to, Drizzy Drake.

The Billboard Music Awards brought with it many wins, but Drake definitely took home the title of Most Valuable Player, bringing home 13 trophies in total.

From the very beginning of the night, the surrounding energy of the Toronto rapper was that of “more life and more success,” winning 10 of his eventual 13 awards before the show even started. Taking his celebrity to new heights, Drake now holds the record for greatest number of Billboard Award wins in one night beating out Adele’s 12-trophy win last year. His trophies include: Top Artist, Top Male Artist, and Top 100 Artist Top Rap Album, Top Rap Tour, Top R&B Song, Top R&B Collaboration, Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top Streaming Song (Audio), Top Song Sales Artist and Top Streaming Songs Artist.

Drake rolled deep this year, from Nicki Minaj to Lil Wayne to his father decked out in a shiny purple suit. He didn’t hesitate to bring his family and support team on stage in celebration of his win. During his Top Artist acceptance speech he showed Adele some love, shouted out his team and closed out with a lesson in toilet paper.

And if that wasn’t enough , he came through with an epic performance in the middle of Bellagio Foundation, like Britney Spears did in 2003, many years before him. Teaming up with his friend Baka and the dramatic water works as his stage, he blew the crowd away with an rendition of “Gyalchester.” Check out a few tweets below and head to Billboard for more coverage.
