Fetty Wap Returns as ‘King Zoo’ on his Latest Single “Aye”

The King of the Trap Queens returns with his first single off of his forthcoming album, King Zoo.

After sharing a few one-off singles earlier this year, Fetty Wap  is readying his sophomore project. Sharing both the song and accompanying video, “Aye” finds the Jersey rapper in a post-apocalyptic bar reminiscent of Mad Max: Fury Road, which soon turns into a party. The lyrics follow the confident wave of the visual as he boasts about his platinum hits and status.

“In My Jeans, I Brought fifty thousand/ Told my mamma imma make her proud/ Zoovie, zoo I Smoke it by the pound/ Forty with the 30 for the round/ Silent killer, I don’t make a sound/ Niggas can not tell me now/ I am the man in the town/ Hate me or love me / These niggas be banging on the Man with the sound,” he raps

King Zoo comes after 2015’s chart-topping debut and is due out sometime this year. “This is the one my fans been waiting for. It’s go time-King Zoo season! We went crazy with the video, and it’s something I’ve never done before. I can’t wait for everyone to see it.” he wrote in a press release.

The track sings a familiar tune as Fetty’s songs are generally head knocking bangers but in a interview with Billboard, he shares this album will show a different side of the Zoo King. “This album is more like a love story album. That’s what people know me for. I make a lot of songs for females. A lot of stuff that I be going through, I just put it in my music. It’s gonna be some good songs and there’s gonna be some different songs. It’s all the Fetty Wap sound.”
