Calvin Harris is gearing up to make major waves with his upcoming project Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 and before its release, the mega-producer shared the trailer for the star-studded venture.
Staying on theme with the tropical vibes, the clip features a parrot (with obvious great taste in music) jamming while he plays select snippets from the album on a record player. Featuring a short verse from D.R.A.M., who’s pretty keen on broccoli, “Let’s party like the ’70s/ Blowing on hella trees / Broccoli and collard greens.” and Travis Scott who reflects on his mother’s requests “Mama said she wants me in the church/ Before the day they put me in a hearse,” the clip also includes the names of guest features set to appear on the project, including Snoop Dogg, Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, John Legend, ScHoolboy Q, PARTYNEXTDOOR, A-Trak, Kehlani, Lil Yachty, Jessie Reyez, and Takeoff.
Big Sean‘s voice also makes an appearance, giving a lowkey shout out to the little guy holding it down for the listeners: “I feel my old flings was just preparing me/ When I say I want you, say it back, parakeet.”

Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 hits the shelves June 30 featuring lead singles “Slide” with Frank Ocean and Migos, the Future and Khalid-assisted “Rollin,” and “Heatstroke” featuring Young Thug, Ariana Grande, and Pharrell Williams.
