A$AP Ferg came through with a 2 for 1 special in honor of his Trap Lord Tuesday series. “Nia Long” and “Aw Yea” currently sit as the new releases on his SoundCloud page. The former finds the Harlem rapper comparing his ol’ lady to the famous Black actress, while Lil Yachty jumps on “Awe Yea.”
The two loosies act primarily as teasers, as he prepares to release more solo tracks with the A$AP Mob gang. Both throwbacks, “Nia Long” was first introduced during a performance in Boston in early 2015, which he highlighted as “very rare shit” via Twitter earlier today.
As of recent, Ferg is on tour with with Future and Migos, and over the last few months he collaborated with A$AP Mob member, Rocky on “Wrong,” and released a music video for “East Coast” featuring Remy Ma. The Trap Lord also found time to dabble in decor, staking his claim as an interior designer. His upcoming pop-up shop will launch in NY and will be made to look like his own apartment. “I’ve always been into interior decoration, so what I’m doing right now is bringing my home to your home and expanding the Trap Lord brand,” he said in an interview with XXL.
