This weekend, we know you’ll be in the kitchen. That’s why JET cooked up a way to spotlight celebrity chefs from around the country who will stop by and offer some practical advice to help you perfect your dishes and open your eyes to healthy ingredients. This week, Chef Cordell shares tips on how to stoke the fires of desire– with food.

Old school R&B mix CD?  Check.  Incense?  Burning.  Dinner with bubbly?  You know it.  Dessert?  **Barry White voice** Awwww yeah!   In today’s world where everyone is a rush, everything is right now, and children, work and stress are an everyday reality.  Sometimes, we are too preoccupied and tired to really put in a good energetic effort in the bedroom department.  While those things, along with dairy products and processed baked goods can weaken your libido, below is a list of a few foods that can start you up.  You’re welcome, in advance for the sexual healing.

SPICY DARK CHOCOLATE STRAWBERRIES Recipe

16 oz dark chocolate

1 lb strawberries (DON’T DETACH THE LEAVES)

½ – 1 Tablespoon cayenne pepper

Dash of salt (about 1/8 t)

Bring a tall pot of water to a boil.  Place a metal bowl that can fit on top of the pot, add the chocolate to the bowl, and constantly stir it to melt the chocolate.  When melted, add the cayenne pepper and salt.  Dip the strawberries, transfer to muffin cups on a sheet tray/plate, and place in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.  Eat….then enjoy yourselves.
