The fast food chain KFC has introduced an interesting new entree to its menu – the double down dog, a hotdog drenched in cheese with fried chicken as a bun.
Yep, you heard right.
The sandwich was being sold Jan. 25 and 26 in selected stores in the Philippines.
Only 50 were sold each day, and according to the chain’s Instagram page, they’ve been selling out.
Back in 2010, KFC tried another meat sandwich that used fried chicken for buns with back bacon and cheese smashed in between.
No word on if the new double down dog will hit the U.S. Stay tuned, but in the meantime, take our poll.
