Kith is the streetwear athleisure brand guys and dolls can’t get enough of.
Not sure exactly when the tipping point of KITH, the stylish athletic luxury line apart of streetwear culture, happened and became the most popular brand out right now, but guys and dolls are wearing, instagraming and buying the line with loyalty. KITH, founded by Ronnie Fieg in 2011, now has several stores in Manhattan and Brooklyn, New York, and a forthcoming boutique slated to open in the coming year or so in Miami on the iconic Collins Avenue.
The brand’s success is partially due to its high quality editorials and its connection with streetwear culture, zeroing in on the underground music scene. Furthermore, everything is in made in the USA and their brand activations are always savvy.
In 2016, the brand has increased its sales by over 300 percent just in their menswear category, which appeals to both their male and female clientele. Morever, their recent hire of Emily Oberg, from Complex Magazine’s video department, to launch and put her unique style on the forthcoming female products is exciting to the overall brand’s direction to females.
The brand’s latest collection Kith x Aimé Leon Dore “Mykonos,” features a fresh and edgy take to streetwear meets the gritty streets of Greece. See below for shots of the editorial.
