I love an interesting wedding color palette! When a bride first presented the challenging color combination of peach, gray and blue, I knew had to do some thinking. But once creativity reared its lovely head – I came up with some amazing ideas and thought to share them with you!
Light and Romantic: Light Peach, Silver and Light Blue
Here are a couple of ways to create a romantic setting with this color palette:
Tent it. A white-lined tent would be beautiful with these graceful shades of blue, peach and silver.
Spread the colors. Focus your energy on the white and blue to accomplish an airy feeling. Silver can be used in the chivalry chair, chargers, or other small details. Use peach in your flowers and tablescape.
The Country Club or the Pier: Coral (dark peach), Pewter and Navy
This Classic, yet casual event is wonderful for this color palette.
Time matters. This focus works well in the daytime. Consider a casual early afternoon ceremony for this type of wedding.
What to wear. Tea-length (just above the knee) dresses are ideal for bridesmaids and a nice gray suit will look stunning on the guys.
Have fun with linens. Use your linens to set the tone of the dining table. This is an opportunity to really play around with the colors of this unique palette.
Tropical Sunset: Coral (Dark Peach), Gray and Turquoise Blue
For the couple planning a beach or destination wedding this tropical color combination is perfect! Here’s how you can accomplish it:
Let the flowers speak. Incorporate different types of orchids where you can. Dendrobium and Cymbidium varieties are a couple of my favorite orchids.
Create a lounge. Build an all-white cabana for your cocktail hour and include pillows and colorful throws for pops of color.
Don’t be afraid! Go bold with this palette and layer your colors, then use white and neutrals as accents to create balance.
