Why I want to be a JET Beauty: I grew up admiring the women selected for JET Beauty of the Week and I have always respected the brand and what it stands for. Not only are the women chosen beautiful, graceful, and classy, but each of them believes in the power of education and helping others. Its rare that women of color are portrayed in such a positive well rounded light. I would be honored to be selected as an esteemed member of this elite representation of women of color, by such a well respected publication.
