How do you top a No. 1 debut album? Well, if you’re eclectic hip-hop artist B.o.B, it’s simple: You don’t strive for a repeat. “There will never be an album like the first,” says the Decatur, GA-bred entertainer, who was born Bobby Ray Simmons Jr. “You spend your whole life making it.” It was time well-spent.
The rapper’s first album, B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray (2010), which was certified gold, delivered instant chart-toppers like Nothin’ on You, featuring Bruno Mars, quickly followed by Airplanes and Magic.
