Casting a bombshell like Jessica Lucas is a no-brainer. She can act, sing and— as a horror movie veteran— she can definitely scream. The 27-year-old will showcase her talent for vein-popping outbursts during her new gig on CW’s Cult (Tuesdays, 9pm ET). The series follows a team working on a TV program where fans begin to emulate the disturbing plots. “When I read the script I thought it was a wholly original concept,” says Lucas. “It’s something I’ve never seen on TV before.”
But fans have seen Lucas. The biracial beauty who claims “Black and White” has built a steady body of work with smaller parts on shows such as Life as We Know It, Psych and 90210.
