Flint, Michigan residents received a helping hand from Russell Simmons, Phaedra Parks and attorney Benjamin Crump earlier this week. The trio traveled to the lead-contaminated city to hand-deliver bottles of water as part of an initiative with Mark Wahlberg and Sean “Diddy” Combs to donate 1 million bottles of AQUAhydrate water to the people of Flint.
RushCard, a prepaid debit card company founded by Simmons, donated 150,000 water bottles to its Flint customers. Simmons also spoke with students at Flint Southwestern Academy, while delivering water in addition to meeting with Flint resident Nakeyja Cade.
Here are a few photos from that visit.
