John Hannah, Senior Pastor of New Life Covenant Church took to the streets to tackle Chicago violence this past weekend. Hannah, along with members of his church and other faith-based organizations, lined up along Chicago’s 79th street to pray for an end to the city’s tragic crime rate with the annual “On The 9” prayer event.
The event attracted thousands of men, women and children, who came together to tackle one of the city’s most crime-ridden neighborhoods head on. Attendees also brought photos of deceased loved ones who have been impacted by the violence.
