These ‘Game Of Thrones’ Spoilers Are Everything

HBO is finally blessing us with new Game of Thrones episodes this week. In celebration, we’ve got some inside info on what we can expect to see when our favorite fantasy epic returns for season seven.

In a new press release, the premium cable network just released the titles and synopses of the first three episodes of the forthcoming season, and in doing so, they may have confirmed several fan theories.

This season will open with “Dragonstone.” The description states, “Jon Snow (Kit Harington) organizes the defense of the North. Cersei (Lena Headey) tries to even the odds. Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) comes home.” Fans of George R. R. Martin’s novels will recall that Dragonstone is the name of the Targaryen homeland. With Daenerys moving towards King’s Landing to take on sitting Iron Throne occupant Cersei Lannister, it will be interesting to see if the men of Dragonstone are willing to follow Dany into war.

In “Stormborn” the second episode of this season, “Daenerys receives an unexpected visitor. Jon faces a revolt. Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) plans the conquest of Westeros.” Is it possible that Dany’s unexpected visitor is Jon Snow? According to this behind the scenes photo posted on insidegot’s Instagram last year, he might be.

Just incase you aren’t all caught up with the R+L=J theory, we’re pretty sure that Dany and Jon are the last of the Targaryens.

For the third episode of the season, “The Queen’s Justice,” we’ll get to see what Cersei has been up to. The episode description reads, “Daenerys holds court. Cersei returns a gift. Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) learns from his mistakes.” We’re not sure how to decipher this one, but we do know that any gift Cersei is returning can’t be good.

Game Of Thrones returns for Season 7, July 16 at 9 p.m. on HBO.
