Jon Stewart’s stint on The Daily Show is coming to an end, and the host invited President Barack Obama to the set for one last interview.
The Commander-in-Chief seemed saddened by Stewart’s departure, whose last show will air Aug. 6.
“I can’t believe that you’re leaving before me,” he said, referring to the nearing end of his presidency. “I’m issuing an executive order that Jon Stewart cannot leave the show.”
POTUS, who has appeared on the program seven times, stopped by one more time to reflect on his two terms in office, discuss ways to captivate young people politically and, of course, engage in some jokes.
