The postponement of the Martin Luther King National Memorial dedication earlier in the day didn’t stop the joyous atmosphere at the Washington, D.C. convention center on Thursday at “The Message in the Music” concert.”
Eddie Levert, Patti Labelle, India.Arie and The Impressions were among the performers at the concert, which was a celebration of the music of the civil rights era.
