The directorial debut of actress Victoria Mahoney, Yelling to the Sky, is now available on both DVD and Blu-Ray. The film, which premiered at the Berlin Film Festival in 2011, received tons of praise and critical acclaim for its moving storyline and relatable, tangible characters.
Zoe Kravitz plays the lead role of Sweetness O’Hara, described as “the nice, quiet 17-year-old daughter of mixed-race parents” who “is struggling to find her place in the rough Queens neighborhood she calls home.”
Tim Blake Nelson, Gabourey Sidibe, Jason Clarke and Antonique Smith fill out the rest of the cast of this gripping drama.
