Calling all fans of The Good Wife! The series has added a new name to its roster – Vanessa Williams.
The actress has just landed a recurring role on the show and will play Courtney Boalt, an extremely successful businesswoman who is considering backing Peter Florrick (Chris Noth) in his run for presidency. While making her decision, she meets Eli Gold (Alan Cumming), and sparks begin to fly.
“There are very few names you can put side-by-side that make you laugh,” executive producers Robert and Michelle King said in a statement from CBS. “Alan Cumming and Vanessa Williams are at the top of that list.”
