Tyrese Takes Protest to iHeartRadio

Tyrese is fed up with Black R&B soul artists being left out of mainstream radio and brought a protest to the steps of a major media outlet to prove it.

The “Lately” singer drew a crowd outside of iHeartRadio and it got the attention of law enforcement officials.

For the past few weeks, Tyrese has been on a campaign to call attention to white radio stations not playing his single, “Shame,” despite the fact that it ranked No. 1 on Billboard charts.

TMZ is reporting that he believes if Sam Smith, Justin Timberlake or Robin Thicke sang the same song, it would get tons of airplay.

Police came because the protest was holding up traffic, which Tyrese was issued a citation for.

Well it looks like Tyrese means business and has no plans of backing off soon.
