Anyone who has listened in to Power 105’s The Breakfast Club or watched “Guy Code” knows that Charlamagne is a character in every sense of the word. But starting tonight you can tune in to MTV2 and see him being a character, literally, in his new animated show “Charlamagne & Friends.”
In the five-episode series, which will run every night at midnight ET leading up to the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards this Sunday, August 25, you’ll see plenty of Charlamagne’s classic antics, in cartoon form, as some of his industry friends stop by to discuss the headlines of the week in music and pop culture.
You’ll also get a one-way ticket into the mind of some of your favorite artists, such as Big Sean, Joe Budden and Nick Cannon as they retell some of their craziest real life stories on a segment called “In Your Head.”
This sounds like it will make for some good TV. Night owls, will you be tuning in?
