If you’re a fan of TV One’s Divas franchise, listen up!
The cable network has announced its latest reality series, Hollywood Divas, set to premiere this fall. The cast includes actresses Elise Neal of The Hughleys, Golden Brooks of Girlfriends, Paula Jai Parker of Hustle and Flow, Countess Vaughn of The Parkers and Lisa Wu of Real Housewives of Atlanta.
“TV One’s audience has a passion for programming that reveals the private stories behind the public lives of Black artists,” D’Angela Proctor, SVP Programming and Production at TV One said in a press release. “The Hollywood Divas’ willingness to share their, experiences with inequality and obstacles when it comes to the Hollywood merry-go-round is the foundation of this series. How these women are personally affected by this phenomenon and how they individually handle the pressure, is where the Hollywood Diva stories begins.”
Hollywood Divas, which is currently in production in Los Angeles, joins the network’s other shows, R&B Divas Atlanta and R&B Divas LA.
