Tracy Morgan may be heading to film with a role in the much talked about Richard Pryor biopic.
The stand-up comedian and actor, who made his major comeback in October on SNL, is in talks to play Redd Foxx, the comedian/actor who made “I’m coming home Elizabeth” a sentimental catch phrase.
If the ink dries for Tracy to take on the role, the film will depict him as the “brash” comedian and club owner who mentors Pryor, reports TIME.
Lee Daniels will take on directorial duties for the biopic, which stars Mike Epps as Pryor and includes Eddie Murphy, Taraji P. Henson, Oprah Winfrey and Kate Hudson.
