Tracy Morgan, Jordan Peele Land New Gigs

Clap for comedian Tracy Morgan and Jordan Peele, because the funny men have just landed new projects  you do not want to miss.

Morgan is returning to the big screen for his first gig since the tragic accident, reuniting with Ice Cube for a comedy entitled Fist Fight.

The two will play teachers who work in a struggling school system and end up bumping heads (and fists).

The pair has collaborated before. Think back to the hilarious movies First Sunday and Are We There Yet?

In other news: Jordan Peele is taking a different approach now that he and partner Keegan-Michael Key have wrapped their critically acclaimed Key & Peele. Instead of entertaining fans with some side-cracking jokes, Peele is planning to terrify audiences with some bone-chilling sequences.

That’s right, he is taking on horror as director and producer with Get Out. It’s all about an African-American guy who visits his White girlfriend’s family estate.

“People know me for my work in comedy, but now I’ll get to focus on my passion for writing and directing horror films. Like comedy, horror has an ability to provoke thought and further the conversation on real social issues in a very powerful way,” Peele said via a statement . “Get Out takes on the task of exploring race in America, something that hasn’t really been done within the genre since Night of the Living Dead 47 years ago. It’s long overdue.”

Who’s excited? We certainly are!
