ABC News correspondent TJ Holmes hosted the 30th anniversary of The Doe Fund in New York City this past week. More than 500 philanthropists, socialites and the Fund’s “Ready, Willing and Able” trainees and graduates attended the event.
Guests included actor Rockmond Dunbar, ARISE News anchors Lola Ogunnaike and Shannon Lanier, and PR maven Marvet Britto.
The annual event also included a video presentation and a live auction, which raised thousands of dollars.
The Doe Fund, founded by George and Harriet McDonald, is a non-profit organization that supports men who are formerly homeless, incarcerated, veterans and living with AIDS in an effort to change their lives for the better.
