Love, marriage, and divorce is no joke and certainly not easy on the wallet.
There comes a time when you have to get past the bliss and look at the depths of the decision and commitment you are pledging when saying “I do.” The words and responsibility that come along need to be taken more seriously.
The latest celebrity crying an empty back account is the Oscar-nominated actor Terrence Howard, who has appeared in films such as The Butler, The Best Man and The Best Man Holiday among others. Howard is currently cast in the upcoming Lee Daniels-produced Empire on the FOX network.
Despite the work he’s put in, when it comes to paying spousal support for his ex-wives, his well has run dry. Howard claims he only brings in $6,000 a month. And that is considered the remaining figure from the funds paid to his first wife, Lori McMasters. The two were married for 14 years and have three children together. The oldest is now over 18. With that, the actor is asking the courts to throw out the previous settlement which ordered him to pay $325,000 to ex-wife Michelle Ghent, to whom he was married to for one year.
This truly goes to show that all that glitters isn’t gold. Read the full story here.
