Detroit native Dej Loaf hit the music scene hard when she dropped the catchy hood anthem, “Try Me.” The recording raided social media with various big-named artists covering the song. The push allowed the track to navigate radio, internet and eventually stage performances.
Since her debut, the Motor City misses has been on the scene hitting music festivals, lending her vocals for features and releasing singles. With a major co-sign from Drake and Nicki Minaj, Dej Loaf is currently on the tour circuit with Minaj, Meek Mill and Rae Sremmurd.
With anticipation building for her next release, the sing-song rapper released six new tracks to complete her #AndSeeThatsTheThing EP. With two collaborative assists from fellow Detroit rapper Big Sean and Future, the project falls in line with her track record of street lyrics in tandem with a unique-mellowed vocal.
