Here’s Your Chance To Be in a Spike Lee Joint

For those who ever dreamed of experiencing the magic that happens on the set of a Spike Lee Joint, the prominent filmmaker is now offering you that opportunity.

Last month, Spike announced his partnership with Netflix to bring to series, 10 episodes inspired by his 1986 film She’s Gotta Have It. And as for casting, he’ll be hosting an open call beginning today (Monday) at the Brooklyn Masonic Temple.

Spike shared the news on his Instagram page.

WHEN: Monday, October 3rd WHERE: Brooklyn Masonic Temple 317 Clermont Ave. (Dekalb and Lafayette Ave) Fort Greene, Brooklyn 11205 Looking for all nationalities age 18-80 Filming will take place October 11th – January 25TH SAG/AFTRA actors 5PM-6:30PM NON UNION actors 6:30-8PM ALL TALENT MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN USA and have valid proof of ID. The Brooklyn-bred creative will direct the series and will co-produce the project with his wife. Production is set to begin on Oct. 11.
