Singer, DJ and model Solange Knowles recently turned an unfortunate run-in with TSA agents into a Twitter game. After Knowles had her afro wig searched by security officials at a Miami airport, she shared the event with her followers.
Beyonce’s younger sister is known for proudly rocking her natural coiffure and called the act “Discrim-FRO-nation” on her Twitter account. In good fun she decided to play the game “What’s in Solange’s Fro” with her 1.3 million followers.

Last year, natural hair stylist Isis Brantley faced the same situation and claimed she was “humiliated” when the TSA agents patted down her hair.
“How could you not know that people wear Afros?” she questioned.
TSA spokeswoman Sari Koshetz told CNN. “If someone is passing through the advanced imaging technology machine, it shows an outline of an individual, the same for every single person. It would not be someone’s hair but something in someone’s hair.”
Knowles didn’t seem to discouraged by the event, tweeting her fans “Ok. Game over:( Flights taking off. Me and my wig had a lot of good laughs with y’all.”
